Synchronization Module Ideal for Collaboration
Documents and files may be modified several times per day. Synchronization allows personnel working from the road, satellite offices or even different computers to "remain in the loop". Using this feature you can ensure that two or more storage locations contain the same, exact, up to date information. If you modify files from one location (add, change or delete), the information in the second location will maintain a mirror image.
In the event you have multiple computers, such as a work desktop and notebook, synchronization provides a mirror image of specified folders, enabling you to always access and work on your most current data.
Synchronization will allow:
coping from the first location to the second location
copying from the second location to the first location
the ability to mirror both locations
Your first location will always be where you have installed CyberScrub BackUp, however your second location can be:
a local folder
a LAN folder
a removable storage device (disk, external drive, USB thumb drive, flash cash, etc.
a remote location (using FTP)
Available options include:
mirroring newest file
mirroring oldest file
determining which location shall have priority
utilize inclusion/exclusion masks to filter your tasks
ability to schedule synchronization tasks by date, time or events
